Jean Bethke Elshtain

Jean Bethke Elshtain is the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Professor of Social and Political Ethics at the University of Chicago and co-chair of the Pew Forum on Religion and American Public Life. She is the author of many books, including: Jane Addams and the Dream of American Democracy, Democracy on Trial, and Augustine and the Limits of Politics.
